At Seabold United Methodist Church (SUMC), as Christians, we affirm our care for youth, children and dependent adults by upholding a "Safe Sanctuary" policy. In keeping with this policy, we have provided you with the links below. Please note that the Request for Building Usage form requires those responsible for each group that intends to use SUMC facilities to read and agree to adhere to the SUMC Safe Sanctuary Policy. A copy of the policy can be found int her Church Office which is open from 10:00 am–1:00 pm, Tuesday–Friday.
Before any group uses any of the SUMC facilities, a completed Request for Building Usage form as well as a completed Background Check form for each adult in your organization who will work with/come in contact with children, youth and/or dependent adults while on SUMC property will need to be submitted to the SUMC Office Administrator not later than 10 days before the date of intended use of the our facilities. In addition, if someone joins your group in the future, you will need to ensure that the SUMC Office Administrator receives a completed background check from him/her within 10 days of your next scheduled use of SUMC facilities.
